PRIMER is x402 infrastructure for AI agents on NEAR: a gas-sponsoring facilitator, a private relay network, and $PR — the token that powers it.
pr.nearlytrade.near
pr.nearlytrade.near.near:mainnet.Standard x402 payments leave a trail. PRIMER severs the link between payer and merchant with onion-routed relays and pooled settlement on NEAR.
The agent opts in. Merchants need no special integration.
Three-hop routing. Entry knows WHO, exit knows WHAT — neither knows both.
Correlate signals and co-sign payment authorizations.
Generates cover traffic so real payments blend in.
The chain shows Pool → Merchant, never Agent → Merchant.
Watch relay health and keep the mesh honest.
No signup, no API keys. Point your x402 server at the PRIMER facilitator and settle on NEAR with exact, upto and batch schemes. Compatible with x402 v1/v2, NEP-141 tokens and smart accounts.

HTTP 402 "Payment Required" was reserved in the original web spec and left unused for decades. x402 finally gives it a job: native, per-request payments that machines can make to machines. PRIMER brings it to NEAR.
The server replies with a price and a NEAR pay-to account.
The client signs a payment authorization with its NEAR key.
The PRIMER facilitator settles on NEAR and sponsors gas.
The resource is returned. Done in one round trip.
PRIMER builds payments and privacy infrastructure for autonomous agents. We think agents should be able to pay for what they use — instantly, cheaply and privately — and NEAR's fast finality and human-readable accounts make it the natural home for that.
